Ingredients

  • 1 bunch swiss chard
  • 1/3 pound bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (raw apple cider vinegar is the best)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

How To Make sauted swiss chard

  • Step 1
    rinse swiss chard. roll and slice leaves into 1/2 inch sections.
  • Step 2
    chop bacon into small pieces.
  • Step 3
    in sautee pan on medium heat add bacon, cook until crispy. remove and drain. then return bacon to pan add butter, pressed garlic.
  • Step 4
    lightly sautee garlic in butter and bacon mix then add swiss chard. add apple cider vinegar, put lid on pan. steam for about 1 minute or until swiss chard has wilted. then remove lid and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 5
    do not drain to serve. The juice is very tasty.
