4 mediumred onions, peeled
1 cbalsamic vinegar
1/4 colive oil, extra virgin
·kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/2 stickbutter, unsalted
1 1/4 bunchthyme, leaves
How to Make Roasted Onions with Balsamic Vinegar and Thyme
- Preheat the oven to 325-degrees.
Put the onions on a sheet pan and drizzle with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and honey.
- Season with salt and pepper then top each with a pat of butter and fresh thyme.
- Bake for 40 minutes, until the onions are soft and caramelised around the edges.
