Ingredients

  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 8 slices bacon cooked crisp and chopped
  • 4 scallions chopped

How To Make roasted cauliflower steaks with cheese sauce

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
    Remove the green leaves from the cauliflower leaving the stems intact. Cut 6 equal size steaks cutting from the top down to the bottom. Place the steaks on the baking sheet and drizzle with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper
  • Step 3
    Roast the cauliflower for 15 minutes then flip and roast another 15 minutes until fork tender.
  • Step 4
    While the cauliflower is roasting make the sauce. Place the heavy cream, cheddar cheese, garlic and mustard in a large saucepan over medium heat.Stirring continuously until cheese is melted. Season with salt and pepper

    Place steaks on a plate and top with sauce bacon and scallions,.
