Ingredients
- 1 pound brussel sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated (not shredded)
- 1/3 cup plain panko
- kosher salt & pepper, to taste
How To Make roasted brussels with parm & panko
-
Step 1Trim and halve the sprouts. Place them in a large bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over them and toss until coated.
-
Step 2Add the garlic and parmesan to the sprouts. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Set aside until just before placing in oven.
-
Step 3When ready to roast, preheat oven to 400F. Add the panko to the bowl and toss until the sprouts are coated. Put the sprouts, face down in a single layer, on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle the panko at the bottom of the bowl evenly over the sprouts.
-
Step 4Roast for 20 minutes, turn the sprouts, then roast an additional 5-10 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
-
Step 5Transfer to a warm bowl, scraping the browned bits from the baking sheet and sprinkling over all. Serve immediately while they are still crispy.
