My husband and I love Brussel sprouts. I make them a ton of different ways. This recipe is one of our favorites.

Ingredients

2 lb
brussel sprouts, fresh or frozen
1 tsp
dried thyme
1 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
kosher salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1/4 c
olive oil
1/2 c
balsamic vinegar

How to Make Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Step-by-Step

  • 1If using fresh brussel sprouts, cut the bottoms off the Brussels sprouts and trim off any damaged outer leaves. If using frozen, thaw and then cut in half.
  • 2Put the prepared sprouts in a roasting pan. Add all of the seasonings. The top with olive oil and vinegar. Toss to coat.
  • 3Bake at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir. Put back in the oven and cook for 25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.
