This recipe came from my Granny.She made it for as long as I remember.It is so easy and very delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 medium green bell pepper,chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 can water
How To Make rice casserole

Step 1In a large skillet,melt butter. Add bell pepper and onion. Saute until tender.

Step 2To the skillet add 1 "level" cup of rice. Stir to coat with butter,cook a couple minutes longer. Add beef consomme and water.

Step 3Transfer to an ungreased 8x8 baking dish and give a little stir to even out the rice. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes.
