Ingredients

  • 1 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 1 small
    white onion chopped finely
  • 1 can(s)
    campbells beef consome
  • 1/2 can(s)
    water
  • 8 oz
    chopped mushrooms
  • 1 c
    minute rice uncooked

How to Make Rice and Mushroom Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven 350*. Place butter and chopped onions in casserole dish. Place in oven til butter melts. Add consome, water, mushroms and rice. Bake 30-45 mins til rice has absorbed water. Will still be a little moist but not juicy.
  2. You can substitute brown rice. Tastes just as good.
