- 1 medium red cabbage
- 1/2 cup vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon shortening, rounded
- 1/4 cup sugar
How To Make red cabbage

Step 1Shred cabbage fine.

Step 2Put shortening and other ingredients in pot. Cook until cabbage is tender.

Step 3Watch and stir adding a little pepper and other spices you enjoy, water also to keep it moistened.
