quick hearty green beans

My kids are all grown up and after eating green beans at restaurants and in-laws they came back and asked me what I do to mine that makes them so good. I prefer fresh green beans, but with a busy schedule it is more often than not canned green beans that make it to the table. This is the recipe that my grown children and daughter-in-laws have requested.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans green beans
  • 2 tablespoons french onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons real bacon bits
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make quick hearty green beans

  • Step 1
    Place green beans with liquid in medium saucepan.
  • Step 2
    Add all other ingredients, stir and bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat to medium and cook until almost all the liquid has evaporated.
