prime green bean casserole
I heart prime rib. I created a new side dish for the prime rib. It's based on Kinder prime rib seasoning on green bean casserole.

Ingredients
- 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3 1/2 tablespoons prime rib seasoning, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 medium carrot, chopped
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup crushed salad croutons
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces Gouda cheese, shredded
How To Make prime green bean casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat the bottom and sides of a 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Add 1 cup crumbled bacon and shredded Parmesan cheese. Season with 1 tablespoon prime rib seasoning; mix well.

Step 3Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add green beans and chopped carrots. Saute for 6 minutes or until tender.

Step 4Stir in 1 tablespoon prime rib seasoning, dry onion soup mix, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Remove from heat.

Step 5Spoon into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Add crushed salad croutons.

Step 6Heat margarine and 1/2 tablespoon prime rib seasoning in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Step 7Combine heavy cream, buttermilk, half and half, cream cheese, and the remaining prime rib seasoning. Stir well and bring it to a boil for 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.

Step 8Pour over the green bean mixture and mix well. Sprinkle with shredded Gouda cheese.

Step 9Bake for 23 minutes or until cheese is melted.
