Ingredients
- 4-6 large potatoes
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 2-3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1-3 tablespoon corn starch
- 2-3 tablespoons salt
- 2-3 tablespoons pepper
- 4-6 slices kraft cheese
- 3/4 cup water
How To Make potatoes and gravy with cheese

Step 1Wash and peel potatoes. Slice in thick chunks

Step 2Place in pot. Cover with cold water Add salt

Step 3Bring to boil. Let cook till slightly softened. Drain potatoes from pan and place in casserole dish. Take slices of cheese and tear in pieces and cover potatoes with them.

Step 4To the potato juice left in pot add pepper and butter . Bring to small rolling boil. Till butter is melted. In a small bowl mix together the cornstarch and water.

Step 5To simmering potato juice add the can of milk. Let cook 2 minutes. Now take the cornstarch rue and slowly stir it in the juice till slightly thickened. Let cook 2 minutes. Pour over potatoes and cheese. Serve hot.
