porter farm corn puddin'
(1 RATING)
We hosted hayrides for about 10 years. This was one of the dishes that we served at every one. People raved about it. I finally printed the recipe and had it available for anyone who asked for it. It is so easy and sooooo wonderful!

Ingredients

- 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 can kernel corn, drained
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
How To Make porter farm corn puddin'
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
Step 2Melt butter or margarine
-
Step 3Mix all ingredients together.
-
Step 4Grease a 2 qt casserole dish
-
Step 5Pour into casserole dish, leaving room for the pudding to rise.
-
Step 6Bake at 350 for about 1 hour. Sometimes it takes a few minutes more.
-
Step 7It is done when the middle doesn't jiggle. Sometimes it will crack a little on top. You will then know it is done all the way through.
-
Step 8This recipe serves 10 people. It can be doubled. when I double it, I cook it in a 9 X 13 cake pan. It works out perfectly. I never put more than two recipes in one pan. It takes too long to cook. It is better to have several 2 recipe pans than to have one huge one.
-
Step 9Enjoy!
