- 4 cups mushrooms, fresh or dried, cut
- 1 large onion
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cups hot water
- salt and pepper

Step 1Clean and trim mushrooms. Wash in several waters. Drain well. Place in pot and add cold water to cover. Add salt and bring to boil. Cook for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse in lukewarm water. Drain. Saute onion in oil until transparent. Sprinkle with flour - add 2 cups hot water. Stir well to form smooth sauce. Add mushrooms, lemon juice, salt, pepper to taste and boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching. Serve hot.
