Coleslaw is a popular side dish in the Bahamas. This one does not use mayo.

Ingredients

apples (red or green)
2 Tbsp
green peppers, chopped
1 small
head white cabbage, shredded
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
sugar
2 Tbsp
vinegar
4 Tbsp
carrot, grated
6 slice
fresh pineapple

How to Make Pineapple Slaw

Step-by-Step

  • 1Core and chop unpeeled apples. Mix with green pepper and cabbage.
  • 2Mix salt, sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved. Pour over cabbage mixture, sprinkle with carrot and top with pineapple.
  • 3Serve immediately.
