Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cans pineapple tidbits with juice
  • 1 can sliced beets, drained
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

How To Make pineapple beets

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch and salt; add pineapple with juice and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thick.
  • Step 2
    Add the beets, butter and lemon juice; cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
