Super easy semi-homemade pickles. I was at a pig-pickin' a few years ago and ate some of these really good pickles. Well, of course, I had to have the recipe so another dear friend gave it to me so I'm passing it on to you. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 qt
    store bought dill pickles
  • 6
    sliced garlic buds
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    water

How to Make Pickles-Dill to Sweet

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain pickles (do not wash out jar) and cut into quarters & repack pickles in same jar and add the garlic buds.
  2. Combine in a saucepan both sugars, vinegar and water. Bring to a rolling boil the pour over pickles. Do not seal.
  3. Allow to stand at room temperature for 24 hours then store in fridge.
