Super easy semi-homemade pickles. I was at a pig-pickin' a few years ago and ate some of these really good pickles. Well, of course, I had to have the recipe so another dear friend gave it to me so I'm passing it on to you. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 quart store bought dill pickles
  • 6 - sliced garlic buds
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water

How To Make pickles-dill to sweet

  • Step 1
    Drain pickles (do not wash out jar) and cut into quarters & repack pickles in same jar and add the garlic buds.
  • Step 2
    Combine in a saucepan both sugars, vinegar and water. Bring to a rolling boil the pour over pickles. Do not seal.
  • Step 3
    Allow to stand at room temperature for 24 hours then store in fridge.
