Ingredients
- - beets, trimmed
- 5 cups sugar
- 5 cups apple cider vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salt
How To Make pickled beets

Step 1Cut tops off beets leaving about 1-2 inches on top, leave roots on. Boil in water for about 30 minutes. Cool and remove skins. Slice.

Step 2Heat in a saucepan: sugar apple cider vinegar water salt

Step 3Pack sliced beets into jars and cover with the hot liquid. Place tops and rings on jars and process for thirty minutes.
