I don't know Phil, but this recipe is a big hit with my sister and all who work with him! I have decided to make a small change and make two slices of bread into crumbs and put on the casserole with several dots of butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can white creamed corn
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons soft butter
  • 2 slices bread, processed to crumbs (optional)

How To Make phil's easy corn casserole

  • Step 1
    Drain whole kernel corn; Mix the cans of corn with the sugar.
  • Step 2
    Whisk the flour into the milk, 1 tablespoon at a time; beat the eggs lightly and add to the milk, whisking till all is smooth.
  • Step 3
    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees; Butter a 9X9" dish; Mix milk and corns together.
  • Step 4
    Dot the top with several bits of butter, about 2 tablespoons.
  • Step 5
    bake in the buttered dish for 60 minutes.
