  • 1 pound string beans
  • 2 teaspoons flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted

How To Make pecan green beans

  • Step 1
    In a large pot of boiling salted water, Cook the beans until crisp and tender, abot 5 minutes. Drain well . Toss with parsley, zest and melted butter, season with salt and pepper. Top with pecans just before serving. Makes 4 servings.
