peas and mushrooms
I love peas and especially enjoy them with meat loaf. Here's a simple version that makes a great side dish.

Ingredients
- 2 10-oz packages frozen peas
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make peas and mushrooms

Step 1Cook peas according to package directions.

Step 2Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until onion is crisp-tender.

Step 3Drain peas and add to skillet along with the sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and cook until heated through.
