I got this recipe from my ex mother in law about 8 years ago. I love peas and this casserole is always a hit when I take to a church potluck or to a lunchen. I also always make it every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ingredients
- 2 cans lesuer baby peas
- 2 cans cream of celery soup
- 1 can medium size sliced water chestnuts - diced
- 1 jar meduim size pimentos - diced
- 1 package mild finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 stick butter - melted
- 2 - sleeves ritz crackers crushed small
How To Make pea casserole

Step 1Drain the Lesuer peas and pour into a glass baking dish. Mix in the 2 cans cream of celery, diced water chestnuts and pimento. spread throughout pan, spread the shredded cheese over the top of pea mixture. Crush good the 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers and add the 1 stick melted butter coating the crackers well. spread on top of cheese. Bake at 350 for about 20 min or so untill bubbly at edges careful not to let crackers get to brown.
