A nice substitute for plain green bean casserole, and it's low carb for the diabetics and the carb counters !!

  • 2 can(s)
    green beans
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    canned mushrooms, chopped
  • 4
    green onions, chopped
  • 1 c
    french fried onions
  • 1/2 c
    1/2 and 1/2 (milk)
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese (mild)

How to Make Pat's green bean Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. In med bowl, mix the soup, mushrooms, green onions and 1/2 & 1/2. Then add the french fried onions and the green beans, stirring lightly so the green beans won't break up into small pieces.
  2. Pour into baking dish and top with the cheese.
  3. Bake @ 375 degrees for 20- 25 minutes.
