- 8 - carrots, cut into julienne strips
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons parsley, snipped
How To Make parslied carrots

Step 1In a medium saucepan combine carrots, water, butter, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Step 2Bring to a boiling; reduce heat. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until the carrots are tender.

Step 3Uncover; continue to cook for 10 minutes more until the liquid has evaporated, carefully stirring occasionally to prevent the carrots from sticking.

Step 4To serve, sprinkle with snipped parsley.
