How to Make Pan Fried Squash
- Wash squash and slice.
- Place in a large saucepan, cover with water and boil until squash is tender. Drain well.
- Saute onion in bacon drippings in a large skillet.
- Combine drained squash and flour, salt, and black pepper. Add to the sauteed onion.
- Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly with a spatula, until squash begin to brown. Add more salt and pepper if desired. Serve hot.
