This is another recipe that I try to make taste like my Mama's. These are good, but they do not come close to hers.

Ingredients
- 6 - yellow squash
- 1 - yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bacon drippings
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
How To Make pan fried squash

Step 1Wash squash and slice.

Step 2Place in a large saucepan, cover with water and boil until squash is tender. Drain well.

Step 3Saute onion in bacon drippings in a large skillet.

Step 4Combine drained squash and flour, salt, and black pepper. Add to the sauteed onion.

Step 5Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly with a spatula, until squash begin to brown. Add more salt and pepper if desired. Serve hot.
