Cabbage Lovers! The juice from the cabbage & other veggies gives this dish great flavor. Great vegetable side dish. You can make this vegetarian by leaving out the ham. Use any color bell pepper. I usually use green but red would taste wonderful. So good!

Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage, sliced
- 1-2 stick carrots, chopped
- 1-2 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- dash red pepper flakes
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 - bell pepper, sliced
- - ham chunks
- - butter to taste
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon tony chachere’s
- 1-2 - garlic cloves, sliced
- - onion powder & garlic powder to taste
- 3 tablespoons water
How To Make oven roasted cabbage

Step 1Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2Combine all ingredients in a large pot with a lid. Cover.

Step 3Cook for 40 minutes to an hour. Depends on how soft or crunchy you like your cabbage. Cabbage makes its own juices.

Step 4Once cooked, add vinegar, optional.
