This is the corn casserole for us!Yum!So easy too.We pre cook the frozen corn ahead,drain it,and then it's all ready when you want to put the rest together.It only takes min's to make once the corn is cooked!Get's nice and browned on the top too!You may want to double the recipe.Enjoy it!

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup canned evaporated milk
  • 2 - eggs,beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 - 16oz size bag frozen corn
  • 1 - 17oz can of creamed corn

How To Make our favorite 'n easy creamed corn casserole

  • Step 1
    Grease an 11x7 pan.Cook the frozen corn,and drain it,as per directions on the bag.Set both aside.
  • Step 2
    Melt margerine slowly in a saucepan,remove from heat.Add the sugar,flour,and baking powder and kind of whisk it together to remove any lumps.
  • Step 3
    Slowly add the evaporated milk,beaten eggs and the can of creamed corn,removing any lumps.Stir and then fold in the frozen(cooked)corn.Simply pour it all into your baking dish,speading evenly.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 for 40-45min's until the top is browned.
