I came up with this as a change from canned green beans. The fresh green beans really make the difference.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh green beans, cleaned
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- - salt & cracked peper to taste
- - garlic to taste (crushed, either fresh or in oil) i usually use 2 tbsp.
How To Make our favorite green beans

Step 1Put oil in hot skillet or wok, add beans & garlic, stir for 1 minute.

Step 2Add chicken broth, salt & pepper. Simmer with lid on until crisp tender, stir several times.

Step 3Serve warm. Lovely with a bit of shredded Parmesan cheese or asiago cheese sprinkled on top.
