Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine or softened butter
- 1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
- 3 - onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- - paprika
How To Make onion pie

Step 1Mix margarine and cracker crumbs together. Press into a pie plate.

Step 2Cook onion in butter until tender; place in pie shell.

Step 3Mix together eggs, salt, pepper, and milk. Pour over onions.

Step 4Sprinkle cheese and paprika on top.

Step 5Bake 30 minutes at 350°F., or until cake tester or knife inserted in center comes out clean.
