If you are like me in the garden more onions then we can eat. Great way to use some fresh,I do freeze some & dry some oh who am i kidding i just like this recipe.

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 cups onion chopped
- 2 large eggs,beaten
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 - 9" pie shell unbaked
How To Make onion pie

Step 1Pre heat oven to 400 Fry bacon until crisp drain on paper towel.Pour off most of bacon fat leave just enough to cover bottom of skllet.Add onion and cook until translucent,about 3 mins.Remove from heat let cool.

Step 2Whisk the eggs & sourcream together in a small bowl.whisk in the flour,then salt& pepper.Spread the onion & bacon over the botton of pie crust.Pour the filling over onion & bacon.bake 15 mins.The filling is the egg mixture i was young once ok

Step 3Reduce heat to 350 degrees bake 15 mins more or until nicely browned
