- 8 cloves water
- 4 tablespoons canning salt
- 6 tablespoons pickling spice
- 12 cloves garlic whole
- 6 tablespoons pickled ginger
- - fresh dill
- - pickling cucumbers sliced
How To Make old fashioned dill pickles with a new twist

Step 1Boil the water and canning salt then let it sit until it cold. Slice the cucumbers on a mandolin. Get out 6 quart jars and sanitize them. Place some dill in the bottom of each jar. Place 1 tbsp. pickling spice and 2 whole cloves of garlic in each jar. Pack each jar with the cucumbers. Top each jar with 1 tbsp pickled ginger.

Step 2Ladle the brine in each jar leaving a half inch air space on the top of each jar. Seal the jars and place in a boiling water bath and turn the heat off and let jars sit for at least 15 minute.

Step 3Leave sit for at least 4 weeks.
