Ingredients
- 3 1/2 pounds small okra pods
- 7 cloves garlic
- 7 small hot peppers
- 1 quart water
- 2 cups white vinegar (5% acidity)
- 1/3 cup pickling salt
- 2 teaspoons dill seeds
How To Make okra pickles

Step 1Pack okra tightly into hot jars, filling to 1/2 inch from top; place a garlic clove & hot pepper in each.

Step 2Combine water & remaining 3 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.

Step 3Pour boiling vinegar mixture over okra, filling to 1/2 inch from top. Remove air bubbles, wipe jar rims.

Step 4Cover at once with medal lids, & screw on bands. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
