my world famous baked beans

I've been making these beans for so many years that I don't remember who gave me the original recipe. I've tweaked it a bit over time and have shared it with family and friends who requested it. They're the top requested dish for a potluck, BBQ, or picnic and go well with ham, burgers or hotdogs, fried chicken, etc. I don't know the number of servings, but there's plenty for a group or potluck. Sooo Yummmmy!

Ingredients
- 1 - chopped onion, sauteed with
- 1/2 pound thick sliced peppered bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, browned
- ~~ - in a bowl, add and mix well:
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups catsup
- 2 tablespoons hickory smoke
- 2 cans (16-oz ) b & m original baked beans with liquid.
- 1 can (16-oz) red kidney beans with liquid
- 1 can (16-oz.) butter beans, drained

Step 1Saute first 3 ingredients together, until bacon is cooked and flavors blended.

Step 2In a bowl, mix the next 3 ingredients.

Step 3In a bowl, mix the beans together. Now add everything together and bake in 350 oven, uncovered, for 1 hour.
