my 10 yr olds spinach
My son Devin, who is a foodie in his own right helped me come up with this recipe to make spinach more appetizing. I hope you enjoy it as much as he does. It reheats well in the toaster oven the next day. In my house it never goes to waste!!

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 packages 10 ounces chopped frozen spinach
- 1 cup mild cheddar grated
- 1 cup sharp cheddar grated
- 1 - chopped sweet onion
- 2 - sheets frozen puff pastry
How To Make my 10 yr olds spinach

Step 1Defrost and drain frozen spinach

Step 2Defrost frozen puff pastry sheets

Step 3Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 4In a large fry pan add butter and chopped onion and saute until slightly soft oven medium heat

Step 5add spinach and continue to saute about 10 minutes

Step 6Roll out puff pastry just to get the creases out and make it smooth

Step 7Pour the spinach mixture into a bowl, add cheese, and mix

Step 8Put one sheet of puff pastry dough onto a large cookie sheet and put spinach mixture on top.

Step 9Top with other puff pastry sheet and roll or pinch to seal.

Step 10Either put some small slices in it or poke it with a fork to let the steam escape.

Step 11Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until top is nice and brown. Serve and enjoy.
