mushrooms for steak
Mushrooms have their own distinct flavor, and therefore are in a class all their own. I am told they are healthy, and that's a good thing.....but,....I would eat them whether they were healthy or not....they are just that good. I love steak, so that is my first thought for this recipe....but,...the possibilities are immense when it comes to serving these Mushrooms. If you are Vegan, just use a good olive oil instead of the butter. This recipe can be made ahead and reheated. They are best used within 2 days. Keep a batch on hand.
