This is the green bean casserole my mom made for the holidays. I think she may have gotten it from Campbells. ** You can substitute 2 16oz. cans of green beans for the frozrn ones. Drain them first.

Ingredients

  • 18 ounces frozen cut green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 (28oz.) can fried onions
  • dash - pepper

How To Make mom's green bean casserole

  • Step 1
    Thaw the green beans. If you do this in water then drain well.In a large casserole, combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the green beans and 1/2 the can of onions.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
  • Step 4
    Top with the remaining onions and bake 5 more minutes.
