mom's fried green tomatos
My Mom used to make these when I was a kid. I adapted them a little for my own liking, but essentially, they're still hers.

Ingredients
- 5-6 medium green tomatoes (not even a hint of red)
- 1 1/2 cups canola oil
- 1 cup milk
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- - seasoned salt to taste
- - garlic salt to taste
- - pepper to taste
How To Make mom's fried green tomatos

Step 1Thinly slice tomatos. Start heating oil.

Step 2Beat eggs and milk together in a bowl.

Step 3Combine flour and seasonings on a plate (I use a disposable plate so I don't have to bother with cleanup)

Step 4Dip tomato slices in milk, dredge in flour mixture,dip in milk mixture again, then dredge in flour again.

Step 5Fry tomatos in hot oil until coating is golden brown.
