- 14 3/ ounces corn, cream-style
- 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 8 ounces green chile peppers, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Step 1Beat eggs in a large bowl; add the next 8 ingredients and mix well.

Step 2Stir in 2 cups cheese. Pour into a greased 13\"x9\"x2\" baking dish.

Step 3Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 1 hour; top with remaining cheese.
