Ingredients

    green onions, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    celery, chopped fine
  • 1 jar(s)
    pimento peppers, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    shoepeg corn, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    english peas, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    french style beans, drained

How to Make Marinated Vegetables

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine the sugar, vinegar, canola oil, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil and let cool.
  2. Mix english peas, beans, and corn. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour oil mixture over all vegetables. Let set in refrigerator overnight. Serve chilled or room temperature.
