How to Make Marinated Tomatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. In a non-aluminum pan, place sliced tomatoes in a single layer. Mix remaining ingredients and pour/spoon over tomatoes. Cover and chill 1 to 3 hours.
  2. Optional, using an electric knife, cut a thin slice of lettuce off a head of lettuce and place marinated tomato slice atop to make a simple salad.

The electric knife doesnt cause bruising of lettuce and no need to use salad dressing with this dish.
