These are so tasty, the can be eaten alone as an appetizer or served with a steak, or top a baked potato with them and add some cheese for a real treat. Just as with my Mozzarella balls you can add or leave out any spice you want. The choice is your :-)

Ingredients
- 1 pound mushrooms, washed and stems removed
- 5 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced onion or shallot's
- 2 tablespoons oregano or italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons thyme, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make marinated mushrooms

Step 1washed mushrooms and remove stems, Boil for 10 minutes in a pot of salted water (approx 1 tsp salt)

Step 2drain and cool mushrooms

Step 3combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well

Step 4Pour over Mushrooms toss lightly& cover or use a large zip lock bag Refrigerate several hours.

Step 5These are good cold or warmed up. they go well with a steak as a side or over the top.
