Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus trimmed
  • MARINADE
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • sesame seeds or green onions for garnish

How To Make marinated asparagus

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the asparagus and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Then drain and add to a bowl of ice to stop the cooking.
  • Step 3
    Mix the marinade ingredients. Add the asparagus and let it marinate for at least 8 hours.
  • Step 4
    Serve at room temp. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions.
