heads of fresh broccoli
red onion (sliced thin)
1Cut broccoli into bite size pieces and place in serving bowl. Peel and cut up the stalks too!
2Cook the bacon until crispy and then crumble.
3Add the sliced onion, raisins and crumbled bacon to the broccoli.
4Make the dressing and pour over broccoli mixture. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours turning once.
5Note: I've also had this salad with shredded mozzarella and or peas added but to be honest, I think it's best just like this!!!!
