How to Make Maple Acorn Squash

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut each squash in half; remove seeds and fibers.
  2. Arrange, cut side up in a large shallow baking pan.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoos brown sugar into hollow of each squash.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon butter to each.
  5. Top with a 1/4 cup of maple syrup.
  6. Bake for 1 hour at 350 or until fork tender.
