Ingredients

  • 2 - medium acorn squashes
  • 8 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons butter

How To Make maple acorn squash

  • Step 1
    Cut each squash in half; remove seeds and fibers.
  • Step 2
    Arrange, cut side up in a large shallow baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Spoon 2 tablespoos brown sugar into hollow of each squash.
  • Step 4
    Add 1 tablespoon butter to each.
  • Step 5
    Top with a 1/4 cup of maple syrup.
  • Step 6
    Bake for 1 hour at 350 or until fork tender.
