These greenbeans goes great with any Italian dish. The sauteed onions, sweet pepper and garlic along with a pinch or two of Italian herbs make these greenbeans a wonderfully savory side dish.

greenbeans (15oz)
1/4 c
diced bell pepper
1/2 c
diced onion
2 clove
minced garlic
2-3 Tbsp
olive oil
2-3 pinch
italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
garnish with feta cheese crumbles if desired.

How to Make Mama Millie's Italian Style Greenbeans


  • 1Dice onion and bell pepper set aside. Mince garlic and set aside.
  • 2Add olive oil to medium pot over med.high heat.
    Add diced onion and bell peppers and sautee till onion is soft. Add garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper then cook for a minute.
  • 3Add greenbeans, including the liquid, and italian herbs. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook 5 minutes. Garnish with feta cheese if desired. (I was out)
