maamaw's green beans

When Linzi was about 10 years old, she called her Maamaw to find out how she cooked her green beans. Of course, Maamaw's green beans were canned from the garden, but these are the next best thing. It tickled Maamaw that Linzi called her to ask how to make "her" green beans, but she was worried that I would get onto Linzi because it was a "long distance" call.

- 2 cans whole green beans, drained
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make maamaw's green beans

Step 1Melt the butter in a skillet until it is hot.

Step 2Add the drained green beans and cook over low heat until warm.

Step 3Add salt and pepper. Turn of heat. Cover with lid to keep warm.
