lets go nuts! cheese and pepper stuffed mushrooms

I LOVE Stuffed mushrooms. They are great and can be filled with so many different things. These are one of a few variations of these beefy like vegetables that I will post. Put out for guests for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge as a snack for the next day.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces light cream cheese, softened
  • 1 medium chopped red pepper,
  • 4 - diced green onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 8 medium white mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts

How To Make lets go nuts! cheese and pepper stuffed mushrooms

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Step 2
    Mix cheese, red pepper, onions and seasoning.
  • Step 3
    Spoon or pipe with bag into mushroom caps. Top with mixed nuts.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 20 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Serve warm.
