Lets Go Nuts! Cheese and Pepper Stuffed Mushrooms

I LOVE Stuffed mushrooms. They are great and can be filled with so many different things. These are one of a few variations of these beefy like vegetables that I will post. Put out for guests for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge as a snack for the next day.

  • 8 oz
    light cream cheese, softened
  • 1 medium
    chopped red pepper,
  • 4
    diced green onion
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 8 medium
    white mushrooms
  • 1/4 c
    chopped mixed nuts

How to Make Lets Go Nuts! Cheese and Pepper Stuffed Mushrooms


  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix cheese, red pepper, onions and seasoning.
  3. Spoon or pipe with bag into mushroom caps. Top with mixed nuts.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Serve warm.
