  • ·
    water to cover
  • SEASONINGS (OPTIONAL)

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Let Them Eat Broccoli !

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash broccoli, cut off the thick stems, cut them up small pieces and put in the bottom of a large sauce pan. Add enough water to the pan to cover the cut up stem pieces. Bring to a boil.

Cut the florets apart. Add to the pan. Do not cover with water!
  2. It should take about 10 minutes to cook the stems and florets. The broccoli florets should turn a bright green color, be firm and not mushy. Remove from heat, drain.
  3. If you want to season, add your salt and pepper and butter at this point. Serve!
