i love lemon, this is very tasty recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound broccoli, cut into little flowers
  • 1 - lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make lemony sauteed veggies

  • Step 1
    Prepare mushrooms, carrots, broccoli and lemon as noted above.
  • Step 2
    Saute mushrooms in 2 Tbsp butter until soft. Stir in carrots and saute until tender-crisp. Add broccoli and saute until tender-crisp. (Don't overcook broccoli! should remain bright green.) Stir in lemon slices.
  • Step 3
    Combine sugar with melted butter. Add to vegetables. Stir until everything is well-glazed.
  • Step 4
    Yumm. Vegetarians: don't look.
