My husband and I both love the KFC slaw,so when I found this one that Todd(?) did, I had to try it. It is so good. The longer you leave it in the fridge the better it is.

Ingredients

8 c
cabbage
1/4 c
carrot
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
salt
2 1/2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/4 c
milk
1/2 c
mayonnaise
1/4 c
buttermilk
1 1/2 Tbsp
white vinegar

How to Make KFC Slaw

Step-by-Step

  • 1Using a food processer, chop or grate about 8 cups of cabbage, and about a 1/4 cup of carrot both finely chopped. Mix together.(make sure the cabbage and carrot are in very fine pieces.
  • 2In a separate medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients and make sure the sugar and salt are dissolved. Pour over cabbage mixture and combine well. Cover and refrigerate over night if possible.
  • 3While this is in the frige, I like to turn it over from time to time , so make sure to have it in a Lock & Lock so it won't leak.
