- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons bread crumbs, toasted

Step 1Scrub carrots and rinse well. Cook in a small amount of boiling, salted water with sugar for about 10 minutes Drain, place in a warm serving dish. Melt butter over low heat Add bread crumbs, fry for a few minutes until golden, stirring. Pour over the carrots.
